Today we complete one gasifier order by our customer. The gasifier was fabricate and tested in our factory. After testing, we sandblast for better finishing.
For this gasifier the instrumentation is done by our customer, because they got expert to do that. This gasifier will feed producer gas for gas engine to generate 1kW electrical power.
This gasifier is easy to operate and student orientation based

Biomass continuous torrefaction and carbonisation plant

Flash torrefier and carbonizer system
Torrefaction is a thermal process to convert biomass into a coal-like material
Advantages:
- better fuel characteristics than the original biomass.
- more brittle, making grinding easier and less energy intensive.
- storage of the torrefied material can be substantially simplified since biological degradation and water uptake is minimized
Process:
Heating of biomass in the absence of oxygen to a temperature of typically 200 to 400°C
Products:
- solid, torrefied biomass
- combustible gas (utilised to provide heat to the process)
CFTC100:
CFTC100 is continuous flash torrefier and carbonizer system with capacity ~ 100kg/h
It consists of:-
- feeder: biomass feeding
- reactor: where biomass is converted into torrefied material and a combustible gas
- cooling: the torrefaction product is highly flammable, necessitating the need for a cooling system
- heat recovery:where the combustible gas recover to heat outer reactor
- scrubber: scrub the volatile and vapour from the reactor
- heat required is generated by combustion (example diesel burner)
- the hot flue gas heat the screw along the center
- heated screw indirectly heat the biomass
- waste heat that left the reactor recover along the outer wall of the reactor
- volatile and vapor produce can be directly burn in the separate combustor (for drying purpose) or scrub
Products:
Depends on the applied process conditions (example operating temperature and residence time), at high temperatures a completely carbonised material is produced (charcoal)

The pilot plant was built for our client (~ 100 - 150 kg/hr input)
The size is ready for up-scaling to meet the industrial request

- The combustor used diesel burner and mix with volatile and vapor form the torrefied process ( ~ reduce the consumption of diesel)
